Come out to play or view the best amateur players in the state in this annual event! It is always a fun weekend for both contestants and spectators.
League Golfers and League Secretaries
Its that time of year again! It is the time of year when everyone is looking for a league that has open spots.
All of the leagues at Pontiac Country Club are run independently: the golf course itself does not run them. Each league has a league manager/secretary that sets the roster for the league each year. When the course is contacted by golfers looking for a league, we generally players to come into the course in March and put their name(s) and contact information on the bulletin board that is just inside our main entrance. Similarly, we advise league managers to advertise on that board if they are looking for players.
This post is meant to help league players link with leagues. If you are on Facebook, you can like our page now so that you will see that post when it happens.
There is one new league coming to the course we know needs players: it is starting up from scratch. It is run by a private, for profit company, called Spark Golf. That league will run 4-5pm on Friday nights. If you are interested in that league, you can sign up now at:
Most of our leagues start between April 1 and April 15. If you have further questions as we get closer, feel free to reach out again in March.
Tee Times can only be booked by calling us at: 248-682-6333. We do not offer online Tee Time booking.
Tee times are highly recommended for all golf except for Monday-Friday evenings after 6pm when we run “first come, first serve” open golf off both nines. Simply show up and get in line on weekday evenings as no tee time is required for play at those times.
2024 Leagues
Attention League Golfers:
If you are looking to join a league or if your league needs players, feel free to post on this link to find leagues or players.
We were just contacted by the Thursday night Clawson league that tees off around 5:20pm. They are looking for 4 players.
If you are interested, post to this wall or private message Pontiac Country Club, and we will put you in touch with the league manager.

Quigley wins 55th Annual Syron Memorial
Congrats to John Quigley who bested Joey Per in a playoff to win the 55th Annual Syron Memorial 54 Hole Medal Play Amateur Golf Tournament.
Thank you to all of the players, friends, staff, and family (you are all family at Pontiac Country Club) who made this a great weekend.
Per forces playoff, but Quigley wins first ever Syron Memorial Trophy
WATERFORD TWP. — John Quigley has been in the final pairing on the final day of the Syron Memorial Tournament, but he’s the first to admit he wasn’t a challenger to win the tournament.
“For a while there I felt like I was getting out classed by all the strong college players that have won like Jame Piot, Connor Jones, Joey today – who will win this one day – he made me nervous,” he said.

Congratulations to all of this years players
